Natural sun-dried coffees are dried in the coffee cherry resulting in intensely fruity flavors and aromas. Many of our favorite coffees come from Ethiopia, and we especially love the clean, fruity, and floral qualities found in excellent natural processed Yirgacheffe coffees like this one.
Worka Sakaro Natural is a quintessential natural sun-dried Yirgacheffe coffee: intensely fruity and floral. But it is also extremely distinctive in it’s own right with unique notes of strawberry, hibiscus, and black tea. That’s why we love it!
Worasa Mijane and his son Daniel own the Worka Sakaro processing station in Gedeb, the southernmost coffee growing area of the famous Yirgacheffe region. Many farms in Gedeb are only 20 or 30 years old, but beautiful coffees like this one have helped to make the Gedeb area famous for great coffee in recent years.
