Pavement Dark - Dark Roast Blend
Pavement Dark is our vision of what a good dark roast should be: robust and smooth, but never smoky or overly bitter. We roast it just a little bit darker than we usually go. Nothing crazy—just Pavement Dark.
This iteration of Pavement Dark is a blend of coffees from Mexico and Burundi. The Mexican coffee from El Porvenir (near the Mexico/Guatemala border) brings balanced notes of dark chocolate and a hint of citrus to the blend. The natural processed coffee from Burundi brightens the blend with a subtle pop of jammy fruit.
80% Atitlán, Guatemala; 20% Nemba Natural, Burundi
